of light and dark
A collaboration between Taylor Gruye
and myself.
The object of this endeavor is to, by way of observations and suggestions, chart our progress and development within the photographic medium.
Over the course of time (indeterminate) this collaboration will evolve in installments with no real formal structure. Hopefully our candid and open comments will be of interest to some of you. Certainly your comments are most welcome too.
Taylor's first submission "Pin"
Once again, Taylor shows his flair with light. I'm extremely envious of the way he can work with light. Most especially his ability to work with difficult source lighting.
Taylor's second submission Global Night
This is my first. It's not much but there's meaning behind it although it's likely for me alone. "cliché in red" :thumb98069106:
Here's my second installment "breaking away"addressing some fears I suppose :thumb98573047:
Taylor has posted "The Wrong Path" as his third submission in the series
Here's an amazing diptych that is number four from Taylor. (I have some catching up to do!) "Top to Bottom" :thumb99910103:
My third "just my luck" i am constantly running into myself and it sucks
Taylor's fifth submission "River Pigments"
really shows his darkroom abilities too.
I'm so behind. Taylor has his sixth submission up :thumb101933788: and it's a clinic in light and texture...really an amazing edit (jealous!)
#4 for me still lagging behind...just something different for me
#5 for me
, to continue a theme of diverging from my usual subjects
The sixth of my installments is a theme revisited and it would appear (sadly) a technique as well
tylor's #6 in the series...
amazing atmosphere and colour.
#7 for taylor
shows quite a new diversion from his previous style
ahead of me again #8 from taylor "Aura Rex"
achilling shot indeeed.
